COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol continues to monitor smokey conditions along Alligator Alley Sunday morning. State troopers say there’s moderate to heavy smoke on I-75 between mile marker 8- and 63. This is causing low visibility from half to 3/4 miles. It is slowly going away as daybreak approaches. According to FHP, they are keeping an eye on the conditions and are prepared to close the alley if conditions worsen.
