ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – An Orange County Sheriff’s deputy faces drunk driving charges after he was pulled over while driving home from a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Spokesman Jeff Williamson says Gregory Popp was charged with DUI after being stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol early Sunday.

Troopers say a black pickup truck was swerving in and out of the eastbound right lane on the Beachline Expressway. The truck was pulled over and troopers noted “slow, sluggish movements” from the driver. Three passengers were inside the truck.

The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1Q977QD ) reports Popp told troopers he was tired.

An arrest report says 35-year-old Popp said he’d been up since 6 a.m. Saturday and had been “drinking all day.” He told troopers he’d attended the concert in Tampa.

It’s not known whether he has an attorney.
