CHICAGO (AP) – The kickoff today to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s second bid for the presidency is expected to be low key — an online video followed by small events with residents of early-voting states over the days ahead.

Her campaign describes her as a “tenacious fighter” who will seek to boost economic security for the middle class and expand opportunities for working families.

And the former senator and secretary of state will try to cast herself as a fighter who can get results in a tough political climate.

That’s according to two senior advisers.

They’re providing the first preview of the message Clinton plans to convey when she launches her long-anticipated campaign Sunday with an online video.

The strategy described by Clinton’s advisers has echoes of President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

The advisers insisted on anonymity.
