CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Detectives are asking for your help identifying a robbery suspect. Police are looking for a suspect in a robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of April 7 in the 1200 block of SE 6 Terrace. Officials say the suspect attacked the victim at his residence, beat him, and stole valuables, including the victim’s car. According to authorities, the suspect was a casual acquaintance of the victim and was at the residence, initially under invitation. Detectives do not believe this to be a random act. Investigators believe the suspect is a Canadian national. The suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, with short, dirty blond/light brown hair. Surveillance photos provided by authorities are from a nearby store where the suspect conducted a transaction prior to the robbery.
