LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a young man who robbed a father at gunpoint, while he was walking his daughter to school Tuesday morning.

According to detectives, the victim was walking his daughter to school, near the Lago Del Sol community, off Clear Lake Loop, around 7:15 a.m.

In fear for his and his child’s life, the victim complied and the suspect fled on foot northbound, towards the Harlem Heights area.

The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, with an average, well toned build, around 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
