Man robs store, holds clerk at knife point

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying an armed robber who held up a convenience store early Monday morning.

According to detectives with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the man walked into the 7-11 store, located at 15021 McGregor Blvd., around 12:10 a.m.

Police say he approached an employee, grabbed the back of her jacket and placed a knife against her throat.

The suspect then walked the clerk over to the cash register, demanding she open it and give him all the cash. He then left the scene and got into a vehicle which was parked nearby.

The suspect is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, light skin, with a medium build and a thick Indian accent.
