EAST NAPLES, Fla. – The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery Tuesday night at the Metro PCS located at 12681 U.S. 41 E. Deputies say a man entered the store around 7:45 p.m., showed the store clerk a gun and demanded money. The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled on foot with the money. Deputies said that a clerk from a nearby store saw the man rushing into Metro PCS. Suspicious, she followed him into Metro PCS and yelled at him to leave during the holdup. Nobody was injured. No arrest was made. Deputies said the robber wore a mask and dark clothing. An investigation continues.
