Teen bicyclist recovers after being hit by car

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- A teenager is recovering in the hospital after he was hit by a car while riding his bike.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, 14-year-old Trevor Miner was hit Monday night near US 41 and Del Prado Boulevard.

Hospital officials tell WINK News Miner has been upgraded to fair condition.

Troopers say the driver of the car will not be ticketed because he had the right of way.
