CASTLE HILLS, Texas (AP) – Authorities in Texas say a sixth person has died after a weekend fire at a senior living facility near San Antonio.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office said Tuesday that a 71-year-old woman hospitalized after a blaze at the Wedgwood Apartments has died. Office assistant Rebecca Hawley said that the identities of only two of the people killed have been released so far.

The cause of the fire in the 11-story complex remains under investigation. One of those killed was 85, and the others were in their 70s. A dozen people were hospitalized.

The complex was built in 1965 and had no sprinkler system. Officials say the last fire inspection took place in September and that the building had no history of fires.
