Busiest delivery day for USPS

Published: Updated:
LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The United States Postal Service says Wednesday is their busiest delivery day of the year, after Monday was the busiest shipping day of the year.

USPS says they’ll deliver 1.7 million cards and letters along with 70,000 packages throughout Southwest Florida on Wednesday alone. That’s about 800,000 more letters than a normal day for the post office in Southwest Florida.

Around 450 – 470 million packages are expected to be delivered across the country by the postal service for Christmas delivery.

You still have time to mail through the postal service for domestic Christmas delivery, you’ll just have to pay for it.
