LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A Lehigh Acres family is looking for a Grinch that stole their Christmas decorations. The family’s security cameras caught the burglar in the act. Carlos Giraldo and Brenda Davila say they came home Monday night to find their $200 giant inflatable snow globe was missing. They turned to their security system and noticed a burglar drove up to their house and walked off with the globe. Giraldo says he installed the security cameras around his home on 68th Street West about three years ago. The globe was bought just five days ago for their 2-year-old daughter. “That is the most upsetting part about it, is you know, just seeing her face and she goes ‘Santa’s gone!'” With Christmas just a couple of weeks away, the family says they aren’t going to let their stolen Santa ruin their holidays. “It’s not going to stop, you know, our Christmas spirit,” said Davila.
