LEE COUNTY, Fla.- WINK News followed up with Brenda Chambers and Luigi Pagano who both sent packages from the Midwest to Fort Myers last week.

Over the past two days, Brenda has continued to receive nearly all of Pagano’s items but some of her own things are still missing.

“None of them came, and none of the files have come,” said Chambers.

WINK News called the postal service looking for answers.

A representative tells us, “During repackaging, some items were mistakenly placed in the wrong parcel. We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.”

Brenda says the post office should have called and told her.

“Are these things yours? Because we’re not sure who they belong to. Instead they pack another two boxes and send them to me,” said Chambers.

Chambers is a tax preparer. Documents that have her customers’ social security numbers on them are nowhere to be seen.

“I am worried,” she said. “I called a company that will secure people’s credit.”

Next time Chambers needs to ship something, she says “I’m sure I’ll use FedEx. It wont be the United States Post Office.”
