On Thursday, the official Walk for the Way spirit team visited the community. This caravan of characters put smiles on faces and told residents about the 4th Annual Walk for the Way on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 at North Collier Regional Park.

Walk Spirit team gives special thanks to: Rochelle Johnson, Miss Cape Coral; Sonny the Parks & Rec Mascot; Swampee, the Everblades Mascot; CEO/United Way Ernie Bretzmann; Walk Chair Craig Bamberg; UW Board Member Mollie Page; and Walk Committee Member Stephanie Robbins.
The Spirit team visited the Collier County Public School Administrator's Academy meeting, Care Club of Collier County, Grace Place for Children & Families, and Fun Time Early Childhood Development Center. The team was escorted by two vehicles from Hilton/Naples & Platinum Dry Cleaners.
The Walk for the Way is the largest public outreach event for the local United Way chapter and includes 100% participation by all 29 local charities that receive funding support from United Way.
