Today around 1pm there was a substantial accident that sent at least 2 people to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. It appears that the Red Mazda B2000 pickup truck pulled out into traffic as a Honda Accord was traveling north on H41 just before the Charlotte Harbor bridge. This resulted in the truck getting hit on the drivers side door and the car bounced off and went across traffic jumping the curb on the other side of the road and planting itself into a cement power pole. The air bag in the Honda deployed. There were several street lights that were taken out by the car as well.
