I was playing with Legos with my grandson, Benjamin, 6 yrs old, on a blanket in his backyard in Bernardsville, NJ in mid July. It was a gorgeous day, sunny, hot, and with beautiful fluffy clouds. I happened to glance up and was astounded by what I saw. There was an incredible display of color in a rainbow that initially looked like a bird. I ran to get my camera and took about 15 pictures because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. As clouds passed over the rainbow the shape of it changed several times. As the rainbow finally emerged from the last cloud a goldfish in all its glory appeared. Within a few minutes it all dissipated. I remained in awe of the phenomenon. Only the hand of God could have created something so exquisite. Now I can add the experience to my list of blessings to which are many.

WOW and double WOW. The photos are beautiful; almost as beautiful as the person who took them!

I think it's water vapor and being over NJ maybe some chemicals for good measure. Why is nature always called god?
