Another trucker stuck in punta Gorda , Fl across 2 lanes because of a high berm on the highway. We saw this-this morning 07/31/09 about 8;54 A/M . This happens way to often. Truckers pull in to gas up at a station on highway 17 & the corner of Golf Course Blvd. Then when re entering the highway They bottm out getting stuck and bottoming out. The gas station obviously was built to accomidate big rigs & truckers- Unfortunatley some one neglected to design the highway to meet the truckers needs. When is this road going to be fixed? If a truck bottoms out carrying fuel you just might end up with an explosion.
