Leelostpets.com and Lee County Animal Services gave our family a miracle. Our dog Mindy, one of our Bearded Collies, was always a runner and on August 31, 2007; during a friends birthday party she lived up to it once again. We ran right after her but she just disappeared, we looked again for the next few days and called around shelters but never found her. After a while we gave up; wondering what happened to her and where she ended up. We hadn't known of Leelostpets back then; if we had Mindy would of been home much sooner. Because she was found and her picture was posted on their website that we never saw and she was adopted out. Time went on and by coincidence my mother found the website. She would check every now and then seeing if there was a dog we thought we could bring home and had a few hopefuls but just never went through. Last week she checked again, and for whatever reason wanted to look for Mindy. Sure enough she had lived up to her name again and bolted on someone else, was picked up and taken to Lee County Animal Services. We had to wait the 5 day period, just in case her previous owner came in; which they never did. We got her back today, she remembers us, and our other dogs. It's almost like she never left. We are so very thankful to Leelostpets.com and Lee County Animal Services for everything they've done for us. They brought back our baby after she was missing a year and a half.
