As part of the its 20th Anniversary Year Celebration, the Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida is honoring its founder, Jim Nathan, and 19 other individuals and businesses who have made a difference towards keeping kids in Lee County drug, alcohol and tobacco free.
The Coalition has planned an Open House on January 14, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the Coalition offices, 1490 NE Pine Island Road, #6-F, Cape Coral, Florida. The following will be recognized as “20 Who Have Made a Difference”:

Since 1979, the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida has worked towards its mission “to empower the children of Lee County to lead drug free lives” by leading 200 community partners to provide powerful, community-wide drug free living programs. Coalition sponsored programs include the annual Red Ribbon Community Celebration, Drug House Odyssey, the Florida Addictions Institute, the annual Conference on Addictive Disorders, community actions teams, and alcohol and tobacco free youth initiatives.
