Our little old Florida style home shows the real spirit of Christmas with a gingerbread house look. My husband made the angel choir from wood and I loved them so much I talked him into making a nativity scene. With the long front walk I line with red and and white flowers, the candy canes seemed like a natural addition. So why not candy cane stripe the palms too and add small candy canes along the shrub line? With the front of the house looking so nice, the back seemed dreary so...... This year we added the candy cane lined back walkway, small candy canes all along the back fence, and don't forget Santa. We had to put him on the gate so he would know how to get in on Christmas Eve. My husband teased me about decorating the swing set and next thing I know he came up with the idea of making a Christmas tree on it. That is is his pride and joy
