Earlier this week more than 200 people partook in the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida’s (CAC) Hard Hat Party, assisting in their effort to raise funds for a new “home”. Guests were treated to “sneak peek” previews of CAC’s new facility and learned more about the agency’s services and needs.
They will see more than 3,700 kids this year and have outgrown their current, 13,000 square foot space. In the midst of a capital campaign to raise $3.5 million dollars, all the funds raised will go to complete the new building and add more services.
Children's Advocacy Center, a United Way partner agency, is a crisis center that works with sexually and physically abused children and is designed to be a safe and friendly place for them to come and be heard and help them get on the road to recovery. For more information, please call (239) 939-2808 or visit www.cac-swfl.org.
