Hello, my name is Cathy, and I am proud to announce the release of my new book, "The Key" A Romance Mystery Novel, In Stores Now!
I started this book years ago, and my dog, Rascal use to lay beside me as I would write, so I added him into the storyline. Rascal crossed the rainbow bridge over a year ago, and I decided to finish this book and dedicate it to him and his life with us. He was there supporting me in his own way, so it became a quest, I was determined to conquer!
I've been a housewife most of my life, and not able to work, due to my disability, however, this did not stop me from following my dream. My husband is a retired auto mechanic of over 30 years. I have always loved racing and in 1997 I won my first trophy for 3rd place, at Crawford County Speedway, in Van Buren, Arkansas. Due to the accident, on the race track, and my failing health, I decided to start writing again.
I have several projects in the works and I have found, what some may call, "Joy Writing" which helps keep me occupied, to say the least. If there is anything to say about me, it would be, that if I can accomplish this much, with a little effort, think of what I could do, if I put my heart and soul into it. Anyone can have their dream come true, if they work hard enough for it. Look at me! If I can do it, so can you!
My husband and I have seven children between us, (from previous marriages) and seven wonderful grandchildren. All boys, except one granddaughter. Isn't life grand? We all live in the state of Arkansas (spread out of course) and my husband and I have two dogs and a cat to help keep us busy. We try to enjoy life the best we can, and live one day at a time. What God has planned for us in the future, I'm sure is going to be a blessing, becasue without God, I would not have made it this far.
I can remember when I was young, and traveling with my family from one duty station to another. I really enjoyed being able to visit other places. I had the privilage of being able to visit the Phillippines and it will give you a huge wake up call, when you get to see, first hand, what it is like, outside the USA. It really makes me thankful for everything I do have in life.
If you enjoy mystery and romance, then this is a must read! It is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other fine bookstores.
