Someone such as Troy White, a young US Air Force recruit, really takes his home town of Englewood, Florida seriously,. So much so, that Troy had local tattoo artist/designer Mark Weston of Artistry Concepts tattoo a map of Olde Englewood on his shoulder.
Mark worked with Troy on his ideas and came up with a design that Troy loved. The map is an antique scroll, complete with a compass, ship, inland waterways, the Gulf of Mexico and Manasota Key. While not completely accurate to actual detail, the concept worked for Troy.
Troy is stationed at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolinia, and has assured Mark that he will be back in Englewood at Christmas time for perhaps more local memorabilia.
