Herocare Widman Check

On Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008, Susanna Widman, wife of fallen officer Andrew Widman, was presented with numerous checks from local organizations.

One of which was from Herocare, a non-profit dedicated to assisting public servants and their families, for more than $26,000. It was presented by Senator Burt Saunders as well as CEO and Founder of Herocare, Lane Houk.

Other donors included the law firm of Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice and Purtz, the Fort Myers 100 Club.
