Although Fay was only a strong Tropical Storm with copiuos amounts of rain, the effects were almost identical to Hurricane Wilma in terms of flooding. Local residents in East Naples near Woodside Lanes and Radio Road were kept in their homes due to Tropical Storm Fay. The water levels in the highest part of the street reached a phenomenal two feet high in the mid afternoon, over eight hours post Fay.
