The boys have always wanted a dog, but being the caregiving grandma, I hesitated because I knew that the animal would become my responsibility. Finally, I gave my daughter the green light and got a puppy for them for Christmas-hence the name Tinsel. They were thrilled. They still give me a hard time when taking her out or feeding her, but they love her so and she loves them and they have such a good time playing. I'm glad we added Tinsel to our family.

What better way for brothers to share a common ground then with an animal that all of them love. This will let them recount memories later in life that they will no doubt pass on to there children.
