The Charlotte County Young Professionals (CCYP) recently celebrated their third anniversary at the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club in fine fashion. The celebration started with a short cocktail hour at the Yacht Club’s beautiful hardwood bar accompanied by a fabulous selection of appetizers. After enjoying the wonderful food and good drinks, the club proceeded to take care of business including a state of the club report, the launch of the newly revamped CCYP website, and, most excitingly, election of new officers. Six new officers were elected for one- or two-year terms. They are:
Vice President (re-elected) - Michael Neufeld, Opportunity Knocks
Secretary – Monica Luna, Marketing Arm International
Lunch Meeting Director – James Coalwell, Calusa National Bank
Public Relations Director – Troy M. Bettencourt, Punta Gorda Police Department
Special Events Director – Brooke Cooley, Soup Lady/Bistro on the Green
Sponsorship Director – Danelle Sinacori, Pampered Chef
Outgoing Public Relations Director Jeff Garczewski of Punkbyte said of his tenure, “Holding a board position in CCYP has been very rewarding for me over the past two years. I've made many business contacts and even more friends. I highly encourage any young professional in Charlotte County to get involved with CCYP by attending the monthly evening meetings and lunches, volunteering for an event or even holding a board position."
Re-elected Vice President Michael Neufeld expressed the enthusiasm of the new board when he said, “I am looking forward to a new year that will bring even more value to our members with some exciting new initiatives and the ideas of our new board members. We endeavor to further increase our presence and continue to influence our community to grow in new and creative ways.”
