Donté is a American Pit Bull Terrier and Great Dane Mix. He will be five years old this coming August 2nd. His demeanor is not what most people think when they hear the word, "Pit Bull" come out of my mouth. He is actually a very friendly and loving dog. His best friend is my one year old tabby cat named Anubus. They love to wrestle, watch TV and sleep on Donté's bed together. Donté raised Anubus since the cat was five weeks old. He took care of him like it was his own child. I have never seen for myself a dog that cared for a kitten as much as Donté did. Donté loves to go for walks around the neighbor hood. He enjoys playing with his rope toy or his large bones. He is very well trained. He will sit, play dead, stand up, lay down, give paw, roll over, and come, on command in both English and Spanish. He has also figured out that O.U.T. means outside, which he gets very excited about. I guess that is because I used to spell it to my friends if I wanted to enjoy the outdoors. He loves the water. Not so much the pool as he would rather play in the waves at the beach, preferably on the east coast of Florida. Donté also has a heart shaped patch on the back of his neck and a small tear shaped patch under his left eye. He really has been the sweetest dog I have ever owned and my family and friends agree on how wonderful he is. He loves to show his affection by licking your face, which he will give on command if you say, "kisses" or "besos" (which is Spanish for kisses). Donté is the greatest dog.
