I recently purchased a new, small motorcycle to buzz around town. It gets 90 to 120 MPG. The bike only has 30 miles on it and it started to run poorly. I drained the carb and got some discolored fluid which led me to disconnect the fuel supply to the carb and drain the tank. I decanted the 13l tank down to the concentration in the picture. UNREAL ! This bike was filled with 93 Octane and the only thing that I can think of, is that the sales volume is so low because of the price and limited demand, that it's quality is not being monitored. I haven't had a chance to catch the manager but I'm sure that he will not agree.
The facts are that the only gas put into this bike in 30 miles came from his station.

The station that I got my gas from is a very busy, multi pump station. I have been using their 87 gas for years but It's hard to avoid the "Under 10%" ethanol around here.

I'm hesitant to buy from any station that doesn't have a lot of activity, but the only stations that have pure gas are the most expensive. It is so hard to find a gas station that doesn't pollute the gas with ethanol, just to lower prices.
