Naples Girl Goes To The Junior Olympics

Tami Lahey, an 11 year old Baton Twirler from Naples has won four first places and the Titles of All Star Misss and All Star Miss Twirler at the Florida State Junior Olympic Qualifiers in Winter Haven, FL. Now, she will compete in the Junior Olympics in Detroit, Michigan! She is also the Captain of Naples Sunsation Twirlers.
Supported by Naples Mayor Bill Barnett and former Pro Bowl QB for the Saint Louis Cardinals, Jim Hart as well as numerous other donors, Tami is hopeful that she can get to the Junior Olympics and bring back a medal that all Naples residents and Floridians can be proud of!
Tami said "I am honored to have competed against such fine twirlers and I hope that I am able to get to Michigan to compete with more. I give 110% to my sport. I try and practice hard. If I get there, I hope I have a good day"!
