Calling All Women!
Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity
Women Build Day 2008
Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity is hosting a “Women Build Day” on Tuesday, May 6 2008. We are now actively recruiting women from all walks of life, all ages and all skill levels to be a part of the remarkable team that will work to build a home for a family in need.
Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that trains women to make a difference by building homes and communities. Thousands of houses have been built by women crews around the world – more than 1,200 since Women Build’s official creation in 1998. Each year hundreds more homes are added as affiliates, donors and sponsors discover the impact of women volunteers and their resources.
Your volunteer efforts are needed for this build – mark your calendars and get your name on the work roster! This is strictly a One Day Event, and you won’t want to miss out on the fun and excitement!
