Yesterday afternoon more than fifty people gathered on the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s outdoor patio as Lee County Commissioners Hall, Judah, Mann, Bigelow and Janes filed in for the first designation of a green lodging hotel in Fort Myers. After many months of hard work and alterations to the site, the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s “Green Team” was proud to receive their “One Palm” designation with Florida Department of Environmental Protection representatives on hand.
