Get ready for a fierce competition as the Collier/Naples Sheriff and Police compete against the Collier/Naples Fire and EMS at the First Annual Softball Challenge on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at North Collier Regional Park.

Hosted by United Way of Collier County, this event pins teams created by local businesses and organizations against one another is a full day of competitive play!

A pre-event party to announce team line-up will be held at the North Naples Country Club on Thursday, Feb 21st at 7pm. Come meet the players and stake the odds.

The tournament on Saturday begins at 8am and end at 8pm. The game between the badges will start at noon!

All 32 United Way partner agencies will be onsite to show their support. There will be additional businesses and sponsors as well as the FGCU dance team, Miss. Ft. Myers, a rousing disk jockey, concessions, and an award ceremony at the end of the tournament!

The public is encouraged to join us as the teams fight it out! Sports fans will delight in the amateur competition. Bring a lawn chair and pack a picnic. This is a great family day event!
