Collier County Medical Academies Blood Drive

The Collier County Medical Academies from 3 area high schools united today for an off campus event. Blood supplies nationally are down and local usage is on the rise at area hospitals. The students and teachers organized and worked at the Blood Drive held at Starbucks on Airport Rd (just south of Naples Blvd. The Community Blood Center had two bloodmobiles on site collecting donations of life saving blood. The community came out in full force to help support the students and the need for blood.
