Local Masonry Chapter of Florida successfully hosted Liberty Youth Ranch Fundraiser.

The Masonry Association of Florida (MAF) SW Chapter students have completed an educational and charitable event on Saturday, December 15,
2007 at the Liberty Youth Ranch, a 156 acre residential campus for disadvantaged children located in Bonita Springs currently under construction and being managed by General Contractors, DeAngelis Diamond Construction, Inc. (DDCI). Liberty Youth Ranch subcontracted with Falcon Contractors, Inc. and the MAF, to assist in making the Liberty Youth Ranch Girls' and Boys' houses a first-class ethically beautiful addition to southwest Florida.
The MAF is a state program who is part of a national trade association representing local masonry contractors and suppliers in workforce development, education, and general industry advocacy. The MAF promotes education and training of young adults in the masonry trade throughout Florida. We offer students a formal three (3) year practical and hands on training program, plus regional, state and national competitions. We have several chapters throughout Florida and the local chapter covers both Lee and Collier County. With State and local support we annually do local competitions, continued education for the apprentices and trainers, the annual statewide trade show / competition, support for natural disasters, support for the community, and the continued support of the industry as a whole. This year as part of our community efforts, we are assisting the Liberty Youth Ranch by completing the stone veneer for both the girls' and boys' houses on Saturday, December 15, 2007.
Liberty Youth Ranch selected Artistic Stone as their stone supplier for the project. The mortar was also donated for the homes. Mortar is utilized to properly adhere the Artistic Stone for many years to come. Over the past 30 years, Quick Crete has remained a family owned and operated business, manufacturing an extensive line of pre-cast architectural amenities and site furnishings.
Falcon Contractors, Inc. is a locally owned and operated contractor established in 1985. The focus of Falcon Contractors, Inc. business is concrete, block and masonry construction for large commercial and residential projects. Falcon Contractors, Inc. also installs natural stone, fireplaces, brick and architectural stone.
With the leadership and management by DeAngelis Diamond Construction, Inc., a firm specializing in all types of commercial and residential construction including multi-family and public work, the Liberty Youth Ranch is on schedule to complete their first phase of construction by Christmas, 2007.
