This was an encounter back in 2000 between my dog Coco and a wild dolphin that came to our deck boat in North Captiva Pass. We think this was the dolphin that was called “Flapper”, reportedly a train dolphin that was released back into the wild. This extra friendly aquatic animal seemed to be infatuated with our dog Coco. He stayed around our boat for at lease hour.
