local firefighter/EMT (Fort Myers Beach Fire Department) on October 20th, 2007 broke two APA-WPA powerlifting world records. (AMERICAN POWERLIFTING ASSOCIATION-WORLD POWERLIFTING ASSOCIATION)in the 275lb class (body weight division) Masters 2 class (age 50 to 55 category). records broken were in the SQUAT - 700 pounds........and in the DEADLIFT - 715 pounds.
