Buccaneers' Trueblood, Bears' Tillman fined $5,000

By The Associated Press

CHICAGO (AP) - Tampa Bay's Jeremy Trueblood and Chicago's Charles Tillman were each fined $5,000 by the NFL for their roles in a skirmish during last week's game between the Buccaneers and Bears.

The Bears had stopped Tampa Bay deep in its own territory in overtime when Trueblood took some shots at Chicago defensive end Adewale Ogunleye.

Tillman ran over and jumped on the pile, then got caught taking a swing at Michael Clayton. That resulted in a 15-yard penalty that kept the drive going and led to a 21-yard field goal by Matt Bryant that lifted the Buccaneers to a 27-24 victory at Soldier Field.
