5th suspect in Sean Taylor murder case in custody

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - A fifth person has been charged in the slaying of Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor.

According to officials, 16-year-old Timmy Lee Brown was arrested Wednesday morning, around 2 or 3 a.m.

Brown is being held in Lee County. He made his first appearance before Judge Fuller at 8:30 am and is charged with First Degree Murder and Armed Robbery.

He will be transferred to Miami-Dade Jail some time today. He is being kept in secure detention until then.

24-year-old Sean Taylor died after he was shot at his Miami-area home during a botched robbery. The trial for the four Fort Myers-area suspects is currently scheduled for Aug. 24.
