ESTERO, Fla. - Everblades defenseman David Cornacchia will remain an Everblade.

Even while he faces a federal charge of interfering with a flight crew, on board an American Airlines flight from Toronto to Dallas Thursday night.

Cornacchia is accused of slapping a male flight attendant, exposing himself to those on board, and head-butting a passenger that was trying to help the flight crew restrain him.

That passenger turned out to be an off-duty American Airlines pilot.

Saturday, Blades General Manager Craig Brush said the team will support Cornacchia get the anger management and alcohol counseling he needs.
