Biography
Call For Action Investigator Ryan Kruger joined WINK News in June of 2011. Born and raised in Kansas City, MO, Ryan is now thrilled to call sunny Southwest Florida home.

Ryan hit the ground running and a month after joining WINK he exposed illegal course swapping at a local state college, where students were graduating sometimes without taking courses in their field. His investigations revealed a culture of corruption and intimidation at the school that eventually led to the school's longtime President being fired.

He's also had a little fun on the job. In February of 2012, Ryan took an historic flight with a World War II veteran in a B-17. He later interviewed a Wounded Warrior who lost his prosthetic arm during a fishing tournament in Boca Grande, when a tarpon pulled away, taking the fishing pole and the arm. Thankfully the arm was later recovered.

Ryan joined WINK after spending four years as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor at WSIL-TV in beautiful southern Illinois. He's a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys scuba diving and exploring his new home with his wife, WINK Skytracker Meteorologist Katie Walls.
