Nick Spinetto is proud to be part of the WINK News Team. He comes to WINK News from WSHM-TV, the CBS affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he served as a general assignment reporter and substitute anchor.
Nick grew up in southern Massachusetts and attended college in Boston.
He began his career as a reporter in Central Texas. While there, he got a taste of southern weather, having to cover several severe storms. After two years of reporting in Texas, Nick moved on to Springfield, Massachusetts to work for the CBS affiliate. It took some time to re-adjust to life in New England (the winters are brutal), but being able to spend time with family and friends again was worth it.
Nick is an Emerson College graduate with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He has won several Associated Press Awards for his reporting and producing. In 2011 he was nominated for a Suncoast Emmy Award.
In addition to watching the news, Nick enjoys watching movies and spending time with his wife WINK anchor Lindsay Liepman, their new baby Micah, and dogs Boston and Savannah.
