GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - What do you do when you return to the home your trying to sell and find a 24-year-old squatter wearing only his underwear.
The homeowner was amazed to discover someone's car in the garage as he arrived Nov. 9. Police say the homeowner next discovered Timothy P. Gonzales in the house, where he had been living comfortably: showering, doing his laundry and using the fridge.
Police found evidence of methamphetamine creation in the garage on a work bench.
Gonzales is being held on $50,000 bond. Counts of suspicion of burglary, menacing, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.
