Advertisement space on school tests?

By WINK News

RANCHO BERNARDO, CA. - Budget cuts lead a teacher to sell advertisement space on school tests.

Tom Farber is an advanced calculus teacher who says he needs money for copies. Some of the ads are for businesses, while others are inspirational quotes paid for by parents.

The principal at the California school was supportive from the start.

Farber says he wishes it hadn't come to this. “I would have never have done this five years ago or ten years ago. I wouldn't even have thought of it because there was never a necessity," said Farber.

The ads cost $10 dollars per test and $30 dollars for a final exam, which Farber said is already sold out.
