Mountain lion attacks a little boy

By WINK News

ALBUQUERQUE, NM. - A five-year-old boy is clinging to life after an attack from what his family believes was a mountain lion.

The attack occurred while the family was hiking in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

New Mexico Game and Fish Department officials said during the hike, the boy ran ahead of his parents and that's when an animal started to drag the child away.

Right now, the boy is in critical condition with injuries to his neck, legs and back.
