ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A mother convicted of beating another woman at Walt Disney World for allegedly cutting in line has been sentenced to 90 days in jail.
Victoria Walker apologized to the victim Wednesday and was given credit for 32 days already served. The 52-year-old Anniston, Alabama woman was accused of beating and kicking Aimee Krause in May 2007 in line at Disney's Mad Tea Party.
Judge Jose Rodriguez said he took into account Walker's remorse. She admitted pulling Krause's hair but said the central Florida woman provoked her.
Walker was taken into custody in Alabama and extradited to Florida months after the incident.

Of course you don't cut in line - in the UK we are taught from an early age that you wait your turn and the woman who couldn't be bothered to queue should have been shown up for what she was. However, prison is a bit harsh and will not teach the other woman anything really. Community service is the way to go for things like this - a year spent helping those who are not able or fortunate enough to even think about going to Disney might help her put things in perspective.

I agree it was not a good example to set. However, you do not want to teach your children to get ahead by cheating either! I don't know that I would have beat her up, but I certainly would have reacted too. Unless you are lying to yourself, everyone would have!!!!

I think that she should be made to ride that ride for least one week straight after she gets out of jail. What a fine example she set for all those children that were on that line that day!I really hope she is banned from that park for life!
