NEW CANEY, Texas. - A disgusting punishment has a Texas teacher on administrative leave.

Earlier this month a sixth grader from New Caney was punished for leaving his instrument at home.

His band teacher forced him to hold out his hand, and then had 21 band members spit into it.

The father of the child says he was appalled about the incident.
