Fay takes family's home

By Lindsay Liepman, WINK News

IMMOKALEE, Fla. - An Immokalee family got quite a scare when an Australian Pine Tree came crashing through their home. It ruined the kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom.

It happened at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday when Fay was hammering Immokalee.

Cedric Pray says they will have to replace most of their possessions.

The family has insurance but it will be a difficult clean up process.

Pray says they are from Florida and want to rebuild their home.

The tree completely covered the home and destroyed Pray's truck.

The carport is also smashed.

It wasn't what the Pray Family was expecting but Cedric says," Basically with any storm expect the unexpected."
