UPDATE: Man dies in possible Fort Myers drowning

UPDATE:
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police have identified a man killed in a drowning at the Fort Myers Yacht basin.

Police say 58-year-old Steven Losser apparently drowned Friday morning.

911 operators received a call just after 8:30 Friday morning about a man in the water.

Police say when they arrived on scene he was pronounced dead.

Police don't believe the death was suspicious, but they are investigating.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers Police are investigating an apparent drowning in the Fort Myers Yacht Basin.

Officers say the victim lived on a boat in the basin and is in his fifties.

911 operators received a call about a man in the water just after 8:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Police say when they arrived on scene the man was pronounced dead. They are investigating to find out exactly what happened, but don't suspect foul play.

The medical examiner was on scene and toxicology reports are expected to be completed.

The man's name is not being released until family members are notified.
