I would like to thank Kevin Bires for including me in his idea to have a memorial ride for officer Widman. I also want to thank the entire biker community for joining us in remembrance of Andrew Widman. It was a beautiful site watching hundreds of bikes leave Harley as a unit. Together. Thank you FMPD and CCPD for escorting everyone. THANK YOU TO ALL!

I have a son in Iraq right now, and may God protect him, but our laws only seem to protect the criminals, this makes me so mad that we have so many illegals here and we can't do anything about it. They take away good officers from us, and what do they get in return a slap on the wrist! I'm deeply touched by our community, how everyone pulled together to help Officer Widmans family. They will need our help more now than ever. Our prayers will be with the family now and forever. Amen.

As a police officers wife, I know this is our biggest fear. It is hard for me to make sense of this happening to such a good, Christian man. My heart goes out to his young babies who are too young to know. It's not fair they will grow up without a Father. And his Wife will be without her Husband. Atleast, we can take comfort in knowing he is in Heaven with the Lord. I will pray for the Widman Family.

My heart and prayers go out to the family of our Fallen Officer. May God give his wife the strength for I am sure at this point she would much rather have her husband and the father of her children here with them. It's a shame what goes on the world we live in. God help us all for there is just no regard for humanity anymore.

We have known Andy and his family for about 25 years. My daughter went from kindergarten - 12th grade with him. I will never forget his "Frog Poem" at speech meet, or his iguanas. What a wonderful young man of God he was. Although I know he is with the Lord he loved and served, my heart is breaking for his Mom and Dad, brother and sisters, and especially for his wife and children. I only had the pleasure of meeting Susannah once at a wedding in Toledo; but I knew what a special woman she was.

Officer Andrew Widman, The American justice system has failed this fallen policeman, and his young family. A convicted 20 time felon refugee on violation of probation was allowed to go free. The American justice system should be considered an accomplice to murder. May God bless and heal this young family and watch over them always.

It is so sad that the justice system failed Andrew and his family. My heart goes out to his family and the law enforcement community. I have family members in law enforcement and can only imagine the grief.

It is all very sad and tragic but the thing we need to understand is that GOD called him home to HEAVEN. God has a plan for each one of us, it doesn't make sense to us but he knows exactly what he's doing. Thank God that he and his wife are of God, for they will be reunited in heaven for eternity. Please turn your life over to God so you too, can have an eternal life. It's going to be GREAT up there!!You don't want to miss out. There is not much time left the signs of the ending of time is near

My thoughts and prayers go out to the wife and children of Officer Widman, I know he is in Heaven, but I pray for peace for his family. They are who need the prayers. He is a Godly man and is in peace. I know his wife is going to need a tremendous amount of emotional and spiritual support during this difficult time. I am just curious, did Arango have any family in Florida? Is his funeral also going to be closed casket, or will Cuba "now" accept him back to their country?

My heart goes out to this family. I have cryed so much over this but when you know these men and women put there life in harms way every day and than something so senseless like this happens it take a chunck out of your heart. I will contenly pray for this family and may god bless these children everyday of there life. To let them know that there father was a true hero. And may god bless our court systems and the way they do there follow ups.

I am very sorry for the loss in this family, I know that words don't do much justice to what has happened, but I just hope that the family knows that we are all here for them. I also want to make sure that the police force and friends of the fmaily and of Mr. Widman also know that we are thinking of you and praying for everyone who has suffered from this loss. May Mr. Widman and his family be in your paryers at all times.
