Boil water notice in San Carlos Park

FORT MYERS, Fla.- People living along 22 different streets in San Carlos Park are under a boil water notice after a major water main break.
The break was reported to Lee County Utilities at 3:44pm.
Water has been restored and a precautionary boil water notice is now in effect. The notice affects about 500 customers from Jonas Rd south to Hickory Dr and Holly Rd east to San Carlos Blvd. This area is comprised of the following areas: San Carlos Blvd from U.S. 41 to Holly Rd; Sanibel Blvd from U.S. 41 to Iris Rd; U.S. 41 from Shadow Creek Blvd to Hickory Dr; and the following streets: Hickory Dr including Wood Smoke RV Park, Acorn Rd, Birch Rd, Pine Dr, Coconut Rd, Dogwood Rd, Evergreen Rd, Flamingo Rd, Geranium Rd, Holly Rd, Iris Rd, Ostego Dr, Marco Blvd, Captiva Blvd, Jasmine Rd, Kumquat Rd, Lobelia Rd, and Myrtle Rd.
